Ingredients:
1/2 kg Grated carrot
1/2 litre thick Milk
3 tsp Ghee
1 cup Sugar
Cardamom powder
Few sliced almond and cashew nuts
Few raisins
Instructions:
1. Heat 1 tsp ghee in a deep saucepan, add grated carrot, fry for 2-3 minutes.
2. Add milk and to grated carrot and bring it boil, and cook until carrot gets soft and also until
no milk is left. Stir ocaasionally.
3. Add sugar, cardamom powder, stir for 5-7 minutes on low heat until sugar dissolves.
4. Heat 2 tsp ghee, fry dry fruits until golden brown and add to halwa and simmer for 1-2 minutes.
Serve hot or cool.
