Ridge Gourd Gravy Curry Popular

1/2 kg small size ridge gourds
2 onions
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1/2 tsp urad dal
1/2 tsp chana dal
6 garlic flakes
Few curry leaves
4 red chillies
Tamarind as required
Salt, turmeric, red chillie powder
Few coriander leaves
6 tsp oil
1. Slit ridge gourds from 4 sides.
2. Grind onions. cumin seeds and garlic flakes to paste.
3. Take a bowl and add salt, turmeric and red chillie powder, mix well and fill in ridge gourds.
4. Boil ridge gourds in tamarind water.
5. Heat oil in pan and add red cillies, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, urad dal, chanadal, curry leaves and grinded onion paste fry until golden brown. Now add boiled ridge gourd pieces and cook for few more minutes.
6. Add chopped corinder leaves.
Serve with rice.

Note: You can make this curry with tindoras too.
