Raw Rice - 1 cup

Boiled Rice - 1 cup

Carrots - 4 ( 1/4 kg )

Dried Red Chillies - 5 or 6

Jeera - 1 tsp

Curry Leaves - one handfull

Asafoetida - a pinch

Mustard seeds - 2 tbsp

Oil - 2 tbsp

Salt - to taste

coriander leaves - 1/2 cup (finely chopped )

1. Soak raw rice and boiled rice together for 2 hrs.

2.Wash , peel and grate the carrots. set aside.

3.First grind red chillies , carrots , curry leaves , jeera , asafoetida .

4.Then add washed and soaked rice to the paste.Let it grind completely and finely.

5.Remove the batter from the mixer and you may have to add more water to get the required consistency ( the batter should not be very thick like plain dosa , it should be like rava dosa batter )

6.Heat oil in a small pan , add mustard seeds
asafoetida.After it splutters add it with the batter.

7.Finally , add coriander in it.

8.Now the batter is ready .Heat a non stick Tava or griddle and pour one ladle full of batter and spread it as thin as possible to make thin and crisp dosas. If you are not using a Non Stick Tava, then apply a dab of oil to prevent the Dosa from sticking on to the pan.

9.Serve with Chutneys.
