Ingredients:
4 oz tamarind
1 1/4 cups water
4 oz jaggery
1 tsp coriander seeds
1 tsp aniseeds
1 tsp cumin seeds, roasted
Salt to taste
1 tbsp chopped fresh coriander (cilantro)
Instructions:
1. Soak the tamarind in hot water, strain and extract the pulp out of tamarind.
2. Grind the jaggery with all the remaining ingredients except the coriander, adding a little water to make the consistency you prefer.
Serve garnished with coriander.
