5 tomatoes
1 onion, chopped
1 tsp pepper powder
3 garlic flakes
1 small piece cinnamon stick
2-3 small Cardamoms
1 tbsp oil
Salt to taste
Toasted bread slices for garnishing
1/2 cup cream
Coriander leaves
Mint leaves
1. Boil tomatoes, garlic and onions with 2 cups of water.

2. Before removing from heat add salt, pepper powder, coriander leaves and mint leaves and boil for 5 minutes.

3. Blend the tomato mixture in a blender to form a puree.

4. Heat a Kadai then add butter or ghee and then add cinnamom and cardamoms and fry for a second and pour it in tomato mixture and mix well.

5. Strain the puree to remove the seeds, skin etc. to form a thick red puree.

6. Now add the puree in the kadai with 2 cups of water allow it to boil.

7. Add cream and toasted bread slices before serving.
