Spinach Soup Popular

1 lb fresh spinach, chopped
1 onion, chopped
1 tsp Pepper corns powder
3 cups water
2 tbsp ghee
2 tbsp cream
1. Place the spinach, water and salt in a large pan, bring to the boil and simmer until the spinach is soft.

2. Puree until smooth in a blender or food processor or rub through a sieve.

3. Take another pan and heat ghee and fry the onions until brown.

4. Gradually blend in the spinach puree and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

5. Season with pepper corns powder and serve hot, topped with cream.

Serves 6.
