1 cup urad dal
4 cups rice flour
1 tsp Oregano (known as Ajwain or Vaamu)
5 tsp butter
2 tsp sesame seeds
Oil for frying
Salt as required
1. Soak urad dal in water for 1-2 hours. Pressure cook with 2 glasses of water and grind it to smooth paste.
2. Mix all other ingredients with urad dal paste and make a dough.
3. Take chakkali press having plate with more holes. Press the dough into the hot oil and fry till golden brown.
4. Drain on paper towel. Store in an airtight container when cool.

really loads of thanks for who ever gave this recipe i am learning to make pindi vantallu and this is really good one. i use to have them when my mum made them, but now i can do them myself,
