Cabbage Vadiyalu Popular

Ingredients:
1 kg Cabbage, finely shredded
1/4 kg uraddal
1 tbsp cumin seeds
2' piece of ginger
6 green chilles
1 tsp turmeric powder
Salt as per taste
Instructions:
1. Soak uraddal in water overnight.

2. Drain out the water and grind to a thick paste.

3. Grind ginger and green chilles too.

4. Mix all above ingredients(including Cabbage) then take a plastic sheet and drop the mixture on it with a teaspoon 2 inches apart form one another. Spread the mixture in a thin round shape and place them in hot sun.

5. Dry them for about 4 days, then remove them from the sheet carefully and turn them over and once again place them in the sun to dry for 1 or 2 days.

6. When they dry completley store them in a airtight container.

When you want to use them heat the oil for deep frying and fry the vadiyalu quickly to a light color. Drain them nicely before serving.
