Fried Prawns Popular

450 g/1 lb peeled prawns (Shrimp)
100 g/1 cup grated coconut
5 ml/1 tsp chilli powder
3-4 curry leaves
30 ml/2 tbsp ghee
2 big onion sliced
5 ml/1 tsp turmeric powder
1) Add the prawns, cocunut, chilli powder, turmeric and curry leaves in a pan and just cover with water.

2) Bring to the boil then simmer gently until the sauce is thick.

3) Take another small frying pan, heat the ghee and fry the onions until golden brown.

4) Add the fried onions to prawns mixture and stir for some time on simmer.

Serve hot with rice and vegetables.
