Cranberry Salad

8 oz soft cream cheese
8 1/2 oz crushed pineapple
16 oz whole cranberry sauce
3 oz rasberry Jello-O
1 cup whipping cream
1 tart apple, peeled and chopped fine
2 tbsp salad dressing or mayonnaise
1/2 cup nuts, chopped fine (Pecans, almonds and whatever you like)
1. Drain pineapple and cranberry sauce, reserving liquid.

2. Add water to fruit juice to make 2 cups of liquid.

3. Bring to a boil. Dissolve gelatin in hot juice and chill, until partially set.

4. Beat cream cheese and sald dressing together until fluffly.

5. Gradually beat in gelatin. Fold this mixture into whipped cream.

6. Set aside 1/2 cup of this mixture.

7. Add drained fruits, nuts and apple to cream cheese/gelatin mixture.

8. Pour into 12*7 1/2 glass dish.

9. Refrigerate until the surface is firm, about 20 minutes.

10. Frost with 1/2 cup reserved mixture.

11. Refrigerate, covered.

12. This is a great holiday dessert or salad.

Serve with lamb, pork or beef.
