1 Cup Basmati Rice
4 Tomatoes medium size
1 Onions, Chopped lengthwise.
2 Green chilies
Salt To Taste
1 tbsp Curry Powder
2 Tbsp Butter/Oil
1 tbsp Corinader leaves, chopped for Garnishing
1/4 Cup Roasted Cashew nuts for Garnishing.
1. Wash the Rice under Running water & Drain.

2. Puree Tomatoes,Chillies , Curry Powder & salt.

3. Heat butter in a pan and add Rice & stir to coat the rice.

4. Mix in 1 3/4 Cups of Tomato Puree.If less/thick add water to puree. Cover & cook on slow fire ,stirring once half way through.

5. Heat another pan with oil, & cook the Onions till golden brown. When the rice is almost done,add cooked onions & switch off the flame.

Garnish with Cashew nuts and coriander leaves.

serve with Vegetable Korma
