Ingredients:
1 onion chopped
1 tomato chopped
1 potato boiled and chopped
1 capsicum chopped
1 cup cauliflower florets, boiled
1 carrot boiled and chopped
1 tbsp. peas boiled
2 tbsp. oil
1/4 tsp. cuminseeds
1/4 tsp saunf (fennel seeds)
2 bay leaves
1/4 tsp. garam masala
Few coriander leaves chopped
salt to taste
1 tsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. dhania powder
1/4 tsp. turmeric powder
1 tsp. red chilli powder
For Masala Paste grind below ingredients:
1 onion, fried in 1 tsp oil till light brown
1/2" piece ginger
3-4 garlic flakes
2 red chillies
2 tsp poppy seeds
1 tomato
1 tsp. sugar
Instructions:
1. Heat oil in a pan and add cuminseeds and saunf, when they start splutter add chopped onion and saute till tender.
2. Add masala paste.
3. Add red chilli powder, dhania powder, turmeric powder and stirfry till oil separates.
4. Add salt, garam masala, and 1/2 cup water. Allow to simmer for 2-3 minutes.
5. Add all vegetables. Mix well. Cook till masala thicken enough to coat vegetables.
6. Add lemon juice, mix well and remove from fire.
7. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
Serve hot with roti, naan or rice.

There's also no mention of when to add the bay leaves. How about: all tomatoes go into the masala paste, and the bay leaves go in at the beginning with the seeds?

Just trying for the first time. There's no mention of when to add the tomato. The Masala Paste ingredients are in addition to the recipe ingredients, right? Garlic flake is a garlic clove?
