Shammi kebabs Popular

1 kg minced meat
1/4 kg chana dal
2 pieces ginger
15-20 cloves of garlic
6 cardamoms
2 smallcinnamon sticks
1 tbsp cumin seeds
2 large onions
8 pepper corns
10 red chillies
8 cloves
Salt to taste
2 eggs
1. Mix all ingredients except eggs, chopped onions and green chillies. Add 2 glasses of water and boil. Simmer till water is completely absorbed and meat is tender.

2. Grind the mixture to a fine paste. Repeat the process for the rest.

To make the kebabs:

3. Add 2 raw eggs to the paste and mix. Shape in small flattened balls of kebabs, fill with finely chopped onions and green chillies.

4. Deep fry till golden brown.

Serve hot with chutney and lemon twist.
