1 kg Grated carrot
1 litre thick Milk
2 cups Sugar
3 tbsp Ghee
Dry fruits (sliced almond and cashew nuts, raisin )
Cardamom powder

1. Heat 1 tsp ghee in a deep saucepan, add grated carrot and fry for 2-3 minutes, then add milk.
2. Bring it to boil, and cook until carrot gets soft and also until no milk is left. Stir ocaasionally.
3. Add sugar, cardamom powder, stir for 5-7 minutes on low heat until sugar dissolves. Keep stirring continously.
4. Heat 2 tsp ghee, fry dry fruits until golden brown and add to halwa and simmer for 1-2 minutes.

Serve hot or cool.
