Chicken Tikka Masala Popular

1 lb boneless chicken breast, cut into small pieces
1 big onion, chopped into pieces
2-3 green chillies, chopped lengthwise
2 to 3-inch piece fresh ginger, peeled
4 cloves garlic, peeled
1 tsp salt or as required
1/2 tsp red chili powder
1/2 tsp garam masala
1 tsp tomato paste
1 tsp lemon juice
1 cup plain yogurt
1 cup vegetable oil
Mint leaves and coriander leaves for garnish.
1. Add the ginger and garlic pieces into blender and grind to fine paste.

2. In a large bowl combine the ginger and garlic paste with the remaining ingredients. Add the chicken and mix until the chicken is evenly coated. Let marinate in the refrigerator overnight.

3. Cook the chicken over medium-high heat until it is cooked and tender. Add the mint leaves and coriander leaves just before turning off the stove.

Serve with Biryani with raita or Naan.
