3 lb Chicken, cut into pieces
1/2 cup Sour Cream
1 tsp. Ginger, grated
¼ tsp. Food Color, red
2 oz Butter
1 piece Cinnamon
6 Cloves
6 Cardamom
1 Bay leaves
1/2 cup Yoghurt
¼ tsp Saffron, crushed
1/2 cup Cream
2 tsp Almonds, ground
¼ tsp corn Flour
Vegetable Oil
1. Add yogurt, ginger, salt and red coloring to chicken and mix well. Marinate it for overnight.
2. Preheat oven to 190C (375F/Gas 5).
3. Put the chicken in oven, brush with oil and bake for 40-50 minutes. Save the remaining liquid.
4. Heat butter in a pan and fry cinnamon, cloves, cardamoms and bay leaf for 1 minute.
5. Add sour cream and chicken liquid.
6. Add crushed saffron and cream.
7. Cover and simmer for 5-6 minutes.
8. Add chicken pieces and adjust seasoning. Add ground almonds.
Dissolve cornstarch in water and add to the chicken. Let it thicken. Cover and simmer for 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat.

Serve hot.
