Andhra style Chicken Thokku Masala Popular

1Kg Chicken
2 Onions medium sized, chopped
1 medium sized Tomato, chopped
3 Green Chillies
2 tsp Ginger garlic paste
1 tsp Red chilli powder
1 tsp Garam masala powder
One pinch turmeric powder
2 Cloves
2 Cardamom
1 small stick Cinnamon
1 tsp Poppy seeds
2 tsp Dry coconut powder
5 Cashewnuts
Few coriander leaves
100 grams oil
Salt to taste
1. Heat oil in a pan add cardamon, clove and cinnamon.

2. Add the chopped onion stir well until it turns to golden brown, add ginger and garlic paste, red chilly powder and turmeric powder and add green chillies.

3. Add chicken and fry on high flame for 2 minutes, add some water and cook covered until chicken is almost done.

4. Add garam masala powder and paste of poppy seeds, coconut, cashenut, and tomato. Add salt and cook on medium flame for 5 minutes till oil separates.

Add coriander leaves, remove from flame and serve hot.
