Vermicelli And Sago Kichidi Popular

1 Vermicelli packet
2 potatoes(big)
1 cup sago
2 onions
6 green chillies
1 cup fresh grated coconut
1/2 cup peanuts

For seasoning:
1/2 tsp urad dal
1/2 tsp chana dal
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
Few curry leaves and coriander leaves
Salt as required
6 tsp oil
1. Wash sago and remove the water and put aside for 3 hours.
2. Boil water in a big vessel and add vermicelli. After 2-3 minutes remove from heat and drain water. Then put the vermicelli in a plate and cool it.
3. Chop onions and green chillies.
4. Boil potatoes , peel and cut into small pieces.
5. Heat oil in a pan and add all the ingredients for seasoning, when they start splutter add peanuts, onions and green chillies, when onions turn brown add grated coconut, sago, potato pieces, salt and coriander leaves, mix well.(You can add lemon juice also).
