2 Cups urad dal soaked for 2 -3 hours
3 green chillies
small ginger piece
Chopped coriander leaves
Oil for frying
Curry leaves(optional), cut into small pieces

1. Grind urad dal, green chillies, ginger and salt to make a thick paste.
2. Add chopped coriander leaves to the paste. (You can also add chopped onions and curry leaves) .
3. Make the paste to a round shape, with a hole in the middle and deep fry until golden brown.
Serve with coconut chutney,sambar or ginger chutney.
