3-4 Green Chillies
1 1/2 cup Water to grind
Salt for taste

For Garnish
1 medium Onion (finely chopped)
1" Ginger (finely chopped)
2-3 Green Chilies (finely chopped)
2 tbsp Cumin Seeds
2-3 tblsp Oil
Instructions:
1) Soak moong dal overnight (atleast 8-10 hrs)

2) Wash and grind dal along with ginger and green chillies into smooth batter, now shift the batter into bowl and add rice flour and salt.

3) Keep the frying pan or non stick pan on medium heat and grease it with little oil.

4) Pour one ladle full of batter into the center of pan and spread it around in a circular fashion (from inside out) shaping the batter into a thin round like like a pan cake.

5) Wait few seconds and sprinkle 1 tsp of oil or ghee on top and around the edges of pesarattu.

5) Sprinkle small quantity of chopped onions, cummin seeds and green chilies on the Pesarattu.

6) Cook until the edges become brown. Then flip the Pesarattu over and sprinkle little oil over the edges.

7) Cook it for a minute , keeping a watch that it does not get charred.

8) Remove from the pan, and your Pesarattu is ready for eating.

Serve it hot with ginger/peanut chutney.
