Ingredients:
2 cups peas
2 cups Split Peas (yellow)
8 green chillies, finely chopped
2 tsp finely chopped ginger
1 tsp black pepper corns powder
2 tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp chilli powder
Salt as required
Oil for deep frying
Instructions:
1. Soak peas and split peas seperatley for 5-6 hours.
2. Boil peas and mash them ligthly.
3. Drain the water from split peas and grind them into a coarse consistency.
4. Take the dough in to a bowl and add mashed peas, and add ingredients, mix well and make small equal balls.
5. Heat oil in a pan and take one by one and flatten it on your palm and deep fry them. You can fry about 10-12 at a time. Turn them after a few minutes and take them out when light golden in color.
Serve hot.
