Cabbage Dhokla Popular

1/4 kg chopped cabbage
4 green chillies, finely chopped
Small pice of ginger, crushed
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1 big pinch soda bicarrbonate
1 tbs. yoghurt
1/4 tsp cumin seeds
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
Salt to taste
1 big onion, chopped
1 bunch coriander leaves, chopped
2 tbsp oil
A pinch of asafoetida powder or hing powder
Few curry leaves
Besan flour and water as much required
1. Mix cabbage, green chillies, ginger, onion, coriander leaves, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, yoghurt, soda bicarbonate and salt.

2. Adding besan flour and water to make a batter spread this batter on a thali and steam for 15 to 20 minutes.

3. Remove from the heat and cut the dhokla into small pieces.

4. Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, asafoetida powder and curry leaves, when crackles pour this on dhoklas.

Serve hot.
